Pine Ridge Report

My heart has been overwhelmed since arriving on the Pine Ridge Reservation. We have bathed our meetings here in prayer for over a year. We had no idea what to expect. We didn't know if we would be able to get anyone to come to our meetings. We put the tent up in Pine Ridge Village and then began telling people about the meeting, trusting God that people would come. In 2 of the services we had over 40 in the services (42 and 47). Praise the Lord, we had 3 precious Sioux accept Christ as Savior.

On Wednesday we broke the tent down and moved it to the town of Kyle, which is further into the Reservation. We will began a 3 day meeting in Kyle. Please pray that God will bless.

I have found the people of Pine Ridge with greater needs than any Reservation I have been on, but yet as receptive as any Native Americans I have been around. God has certainly gone ahead of us and prepared the way. We do need you to keep praying for us while we are here. I will update the blog tomorrow to let you know how the meeting in Kyle goes tonight.

God bless and thanks for all who are following the ministry and lifting us up in prayer.

Yours for Native America
Ken Trivette
