The past few weeks have been blessed ones. It was a joy and blessing to have been with pastor Mike Goodson and the Gilead Baptist Church. I was with them Easter Sunday through Tuesday night (April 4-6). There was a good spirit in every service. These are dear people and always a joy to be around and to preach to. Pastor Goodson is a dear friend. They are supporters of my ministry and I give thanks to God at every remembrance of them.
It was a blessing to be with Pastor Sam Haynes and the New Grace Baptist Church in Bristol, TN. Although this Church is only five years old, it is amazing what God has done in such a short time. I was there Sunday through Wednesday (April 11-15). There was good attendance in every service and a wonderful spirit. This was my first time in the church and it was encouraging to see all that God has done. This church is also one of my supporters. Pastor Haynes is a precious brother and the church a special blessing.
On Sunday, April 18, we were able to be at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Kingsport, TN and pastor Cecial Sturgill. These dear people have been special to my heart for sometime and it was our joy to unite with the Church. They are now our church home. We feel honored and blessed to be a part of Tabernacle and work out from under pastor Sturgill. Everyone needs a good home church and we feel blessed of God to members of Tabernacle.
On Sunday evening, April 18, I was blessed to be with pastor J.W. Dupew and the Homeland Baptist Church in Kingsport, TN. This was my first visit to the Church. It was a great service! From the moment we walked in you could feel God's presence. God has His hand upon the Homeland Baptist Church. At the end of the service they took us on for support. To God be the glory.
We continue to get good reports from the Reservations and our missionaries. I am rejoicing at the people who have been saved in recent days. Thank you for your prayers. Keep praying that God will call many more workers into this needy field.
Yours for Native America
