WEEKLY UPDATE (10/19/09)

It was a joy to be with Pastor Joe White and the Thompson Springs Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tennessee this past Sunday morning. This is a young pastor who is doing a good job. They are building a new auditorium and hope to be in it over the next couple of months. There was a good number present for the morning service.

On Sunday evening I enjoyed being with Pastor Justin Gazaway and the Cloverleaf Baptist Church in Cartersville, Georgia. The building was almost full and a good spirit in the service. This was my first time to be in both these Churches. I was honored, as well as blessed, to preach in these Churches.

I will be in Chattanooga this weekend. I begin a revival meeting at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Brainerd Road. The pastor is Marvin Fowler. He is a dear friend and faithful preacher of God's Word. I am looking forward to being with Him. As always, I covet your prayers for these services.

In all I do and in every Church I preach, Native America is a focus. I am still raising my support as I go from Church to Church, but it is my prayer that there will be someone in the services that God will touch with the need of reaching Native Americans and call them into this great and needy work. Keep praying for us and Native America.

Yours for Native America
Ken Trivette
